The Enrique Peña Nieto commenced his political career in May 1990 where in he occupied the position of the secretary of the Citizen Movement of Zone I of the State Directive Committee of the National Confederation of Popular Organizations (CNOP). Afterwards he served as delegate and representative for different municipalities and also worked as instructor at the Electoral Training Center of the PRI. Enrique Peña Neito also to his credit obtained various high level positions that enabled him to rise to the position of the chief of staff for the Secretary of economic development of the State of Mexico. Later Enrique Pena Neito became the deputy secretary of government for the State of Mexico for a period from 1999 to 2000. His political tasks during the year 2000 to 2002 increased to such a great extent that he has to look after the various administrative services with various esteemed positions that helped him to focus for more superior positions. His sincere dedication and services towards the development of the citizens of the state of Mexico has earned him name fame and recognition which has made him a prominent figure in the eyes of his party members and the public. This has paved a way for him to make a serious entry as a contender for the local council and he won the election also. Later years with various nominations and posts that Enrique Pena Neito secured with the support of the public and his party members he has decided to contest for the governorship of the state of Mexico and he won the same during the year 2005. His valuable services towards the youth and their employment programs enabled him to secure majority of votes in the elections. His first year of government focused its attention in various developmental activities of the citizens in the field of education, employment and the agricultural sector. His second year has faced a lot of troubled situations which he was able to solve with his leadership capabilities.
